Pilot-Scale Coating Machine

Kodak's Flex Pilot Coater is designed to allow you to develop, optimize and prototype your final manufacturing process. This machine can be configured to support a wide variety of processes. The primary process options that are available include:
- Slot die, gravure (forward/reverse/offset), and flexographic
- Wet and dry lamination
- Thermal, IR and UV drying/curing options
- Low volume coating for initial trials
Lab-Scale Services
Kodak offers lab-scale services designed to optimize your mixing and coating process to smooth the transition to the pilot scale. These services typically require 0.5-5.0 L of coating solution and can be easily reconfigured within an event to investigate a range of process options.
