Kodak Japan will participate in page2025 and JANPS (Japan Newspaper Production Show) held at the Sunshine City Convention Center, Tokyo, from February 19 to 21. At booth C-13 (hall C Bunka Kaikan 3F), show attendees will learn about Kodak’s innovative prepress, software and inkjet technologies. With its KODAK PROSPER Inkjet Presses and Imprinting Systems, Kodak offers unparalleled digital solutions that enable printers to produce high-quality work consistently and cost-effectively at industry-leading speeds. With a collection of print samples and videos, show attendees can see that the KODAK PROSPER ULTRA 520 Press delivers outstanding offset-quality print. KODAK PROSPER Imprinting Systems are designed for integration into offset, flexo or gravure presses, converting lines, and finishing equipment and enable hybrid production scenarios, with no sacrifice in throughput.
Kodak will demonstrate the KODAK PRINERGY Platform, which provides an integrated and future-proof workflow automation solution. PRINERGY Software 11.0 has been designed to provide even more efficient support for digital and traditional print, in addition to greater security and usability. Furthermore, Kodak will showcase the PRINERGY Access 2.0 SaaS solution which combines PRINERGY’s automation and portal tools with connectivity to any digital press and any on-premise workflow.
Kodak continues to lead the market with innovations in sustainable and resource-saving process free plate technology with KODAK SONORA XTRA Plates made in Japan. Kodak will demonstrate straightforward imaging of SONORA XTRA Plates on a KODAK TRENDSETTER Platesetter. The same device will also image the TRF-IR830 Thermal Laser Film from Mitsubishi Paper Mills. This dry film is an efficient computer-to-film solution for screen printing, flexo/letterpress printing and printed circuit board applications.
