Packaging Requirements

Italy Packaging Information for Consumer Products

In Italy, Legislative Decree 116/2020 requires that all packaging be labeled with an alphanumeric code (according to EU Directive 129/97) that describes the family of materials to which the packaging belongs. Furthermore, packaging for consumer or household products must include information on waste separation, such as the collection family (e.g., paper, plastic, glass, etc.) and instructions to check local regulations. The information on waste separation for Kodak consumer products is listed below:

Packaging Extended Producer Responsibility in Spain

Royal Decree 1055/2022 on Packaging and Packaging Waste establishes a series of new obligations and responsibilities for all companies placing packaged goods on the market in Spain.

Under this law, producers are required to participate in a Collective Extended Producer Responsibility System/Sistema Colectivo de Responsabilidad Ampliada del Productor (SCRAP) to organize and finance the management of packaging waste from supplied products. In compliance with this decree, Kodak SA has joined a SCRAP managed by ENVALORA.

From 1 January 2025, Kodak S.A. is required to inform customers of the financial contribution paid to ENVALORA's SCRAP for the containers/packaging placed on the market by Kodak. The link below provides SCRAP contributions for products within the scope of this obligation.
