Kodak’s Motion Picture and Entertainment division announced this week that four talented motion picture artists -- Sean Baker (The Florida Project), Luca Guadagnino (Call Me by Your Name), Dee Rees (MUDBOUND) and Edgar Wright (Baby Driver) -- will be the recipients of KODAK Auteur Awards. The 2nd annual event will take place on Thursday, March 1, at Crossroads Kitchen in Los Angeles.

The KODAK Auteur Awards recognizes talented motion picture artists who have created critically-acclaimed motion picture art, who are unyielding in their artistic process and who Kodak believes will be making cinematic masterpieces for decades to come. Kodak will also celebrate the movies shot on film in 2017, especially those who have been heavily recognized during this award season. A list of the movies shot on film and their accolades earned this season can be found below.

“This year’s revered KODAK Auteur Award winners created cinematic treasures that will devoutly stand the test of time and will be appreciated for decades,” said Steve Bellamy, Kodak’s President of Motion Picture and Entertainment. “Sean Baker, Luca Guadagnino, Dee Rees and Edgar Wright are auteurs in the truest sense of the word and it is Kodak’s honor to acknowledge their grit, tenacity, talent and vision with these awards.”

The evening will be catered by Crossroads Kitchen’s world renowned Chef Tal Ronnen and Impossible Foods.
