Print for Good: Kodak Argentina team participates in Reading Marathon
A team of employees from Kodak Argentina joined together in late September to volunteer at Fundacion Leer’s 17th Annual Reading Marathon. Over 900,000 people participated in this year’s event centered around the theme – “Read to others and take the reading forward."
Fundacion Leer is a Buenos Aires-based organization that supports reading and education initiatives. The group works to provide books and literacy programs to over 20,000 entities, including schools, hospitals, prisons, community centers and libraries across the country.
The Kodak Argentina team volunteered their time at Garrahan Hospital, a prominent pediatric public hospital located in Buenos Aires. The employees included Yésica D'Alecio (Human Resources), Cecilia Cosentino (Print Systems Division), Marina Pastor (Corporate Finance Group) and Carolina Huczek ( Print Systems Division), and the group spent the day reading stories and donating books to children participating in the event.
As Carolina Huczek shared, “The team was proud to once again participate in this great activity. Through Kodak’s Print for Good program, we are happy to support reading initiatives that help to open windows to a world of imagination, creativity and culture.”
