21 Stories for Scouts 1 1200x800

Everyone around Kodak Headquarters had their eyes to the sky on May 31st, as over 100 people from the Rochester, NY area rappelled down the side of Kodak Tower for the 10th Anniversary of the 21 Stories for Scouts. The leap of faith was all to raise money for the local Boy Scouts.

Fourteen employees from Kodak took part in the fundraiser by rappelling or raising money. Kodak rappelers raised funding to help bring programs to under-served youth in the greater Rochester and Finger Lakes communities. This support helps provide professional and volunteer leadership and promotional opportunities to ensure quality programs to develop future leaders.

It wasn’t just Kodak rappelers who participated in the event. Several Kodak employees helped by volunteering their time. Volunteers welcomed participants as they entered the lobby, escorted them to the 19th floor balcony, and even hooked up their KODAK PIXPRO ORBIT 360 helmet cameras, which gave them a bird’s eye view of their memorable descent.

Kodak participants and volunteers were proud to come together to make this event another great success for the local Scouting community.
