Kodak partners with Bonacia to provide new books to students in Rochester
Kodak was proud to support the Rochester City School District this holiday season by delivering books to every student and teacher in School #57.
This year Kodak partnered with one of its most prominent KODAK NEXPRESS customers, Bonacia, a company based in Peterborough, England. Kodak and Bonacia collaborated to create Story Seekers Save Rochester, New York, a children’s book based on a group of superheroes who want all children to be given a chance to read. Bonacia wrote and produced the book, and Kodak distributed them to all the students yesterday during a festive celebration.
Leaders from Kodak’s Print Systems Division Team were joined by the school’s Principal, Eva Thomas, and a room full of energetic students. Chris Balls, General Manager of Equipment and Service and Vice President of PSD, presented the books and shared, “It was a wonderful event. Kodak is committed to supporting literacy programs in our local communities, and being able to provide each student in School #57 with a book this holiday season was a proud moment for our team.”
Several of Kodak’s sites around the world have supported the company’s “Print for Good” program this year with the goal of providing books, school supplies and support to local organizations focused on literacy initiatives.
