As of January 1, 2019, Kodak will cease support for:

  • KODAK PRINERGY Workflow Version 7.0
  • KODAK INSITE Prepress Portal 7.x

Note: This announcement does not impact any later versions of the products, including Prinergy version 7.5, which will continue to be fully supported.

If you are no longer operating this software, or if you have already upgraded to a later version of the product, you will not be affected by these changes.

We recommend that you consider upgrading to the latest version of the software to ensure that your business is leveraging the full revenue potential of KODAK Workflow Solutions. Your upgrade path may vary depending on your requirements and data migration needs.

Questions and Answers

Kodak is committed to supporting software that is within one version of the current release. With current version releases, both of these product versions will fall outside of this support policy. Prinergy 7.0 and InSite 7.x are also the last versions still supporting a physical dongle for licensing, so ending support completes the migration to a software based licensing system.

No, only Prinergy 7.0.0 and 7.0.1 are moving to End of Service on this schedule.

KODAK Service and Support will continue until December 31, 2018.

Absolutely not. Kodak is committed to continuing the development of current versions of these products as key components of our production solutions.

Customers currently using these Legacy Products that wish to continue to have Kodak support after the End of Service date will be required to upgrade by December 31, 2018.

Kodak Advanced Support Plans and Kodak Plus Support Plans are entitled to an upgrade. Your options depend on your current server hardware and OS version.

Upgrades must be completed prior to the December 31, 2018 End of Service Life date to ensure continued support.
