Kodak Names Dolores Kruchten Vice President of Eastman Business Park

Strategic appointment demonstrates Kodak’s commitment to growth and economic development at New York’s largest technology and industrial site

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Wednesday, August 19, 2015 --

Kodak announced today the appointment of Dolores Kruchten as the new leader of Eastman Business Park (EBP), the Rochester-based 1,250 acre research and manufacturing site, and the Finger Lakes Region’s highest priority for economic development since 2011.

Kruchten has decades of experience managing global, technical businesses, most recently as President of the Information Management division at Kodak Alaris. Kodak Alaris was spun out by Kodak in 2013, and is currently one of EBP’s largest tenants. Kruchten was a founding director of the new enterprise, helping to establish and manage the start-up company through its first two years.

Kruchten, who holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, has spent 30+ years at Kodak, including 20 years in business management roles. Kruchten is also dedicated to serving the Rochester community in a leadership capacity, including current director-level positions at the Rochester United Way and the Monroe Community College Foundation. Kruchten also serves as the Co-Chair of Rochester’s 2016 American Heart Walk.

In her new role, Kruchten will be responsible for business development and economic growth at Eastman Business Park, while supporting the needs of current tenants and driving revitalization efforts at the site She will be working in partnership with community leaders and government officials to support these goals, with a focus on creating advanced manufacturing jobs within the burgeoning high-tech ecosystem on campus. She will report to the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President John McMullen.

Executive Quotes
“Eastman Business Park is a very high priority for Kodak,” said Kodak Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President John McMullen. “We are confident Dolores Kruchten is the right leader to take EBP to the next level, creating local jobs by working with existing tenants, executing on a robust new business pipeline, and supporting Kodak’s interests on site. She brings a strong set of technical, business and leadership skills to the role, with a reputation for running excellent teams. While Dolores has a long and rich history with Kodak, she has also been a tenant, so she understands the Park and the entrepreneurial mentality we are working to foster on the campus. We are looking forward to the next steps for this important Regional asset under her leadership and strategic vision.”

“I am proud to be rejoining the Kodak team,” said Dolores Kruchten, new Vice President of Eastman Business Park. “It is a tremendous opportunity to support the community’s revitalization efforts through such an important initiative as developing and growing Eastman Business Park.”
