Ink
The technology behind the ink: KODAK Ink particles are three to four times smaller than conventional pigment-based inks — so you get more precise placement, stronger colors, and smoother images.
Paper
Create beautiful photos in an instant.
Instant ink absorption
Kodak’s photo paper portfolio uses microporous photo paper containing millions of tiny holes. This paper is specifically designed to work in conjunction with our pigment-based inks to create KODAK Lab-Quality photos that both dry instantly and provide best-in-class image longevity. With HP you typically have to choose between one or the other.
The tiny holes in KODAK Paper work with the tiny particles of ink, resulting in ink absorption that’s approximately 80x faster than HP Premium Plus paper.
Prints — Long Lasting
Keep memories as bright as the day you made them. All KODAK Printers use pigment-based inks and inkjet papers to produce photos and documents that last a lifetime. While dye-based inks on microporous papers fade over time, Kodak’s porous photo paper works with our ink to dry instantly, resulting in photos that look brilliant and are water resistant
Prints — Proven Performance
“Kodak inks and media have achieved by far the best overall print permanence ratings of any consumer inkjet printer system tested by WIR, regardless of manufacturer…”
