List of Tips

  • The aspect ratios shown in the Save As... dialog represent the maximum pixel dimensions for saved files. Pictures with aspect ratios that are not 2:1 are slightly smaller than the specified pixel dimensions.

  • Cropping a picture multiple times can produce unanticipated results. If this problem occurs, restart the application and apply the desired crop.

  • When zooming in on a cropped picture, the picture is not centered. To see the desired portion of the picture, click the large picture and drag it to the desired position.

  • Pictures that have been modified using a 5 x 7 crop do not display properly in the full view on the main screen. This does not affect the picture itself.

  • When print preview set for 256 colors it produces poor results. It is recommended that print preview be set for thousands or millions of colors.

  • The print layouts are optimized for 8 1/2 x 11-inch (letter) paper. Selecting other paper sizes may produce unsatisfactory results.

  • Setting wallpaper from Picture CD may change the background pattern of the desktop.

  • Using KODAK Picture CD to set wallpaper is not supported on OS 8.6.

  • The preview thumbnails for modified pictures are re-sorted when the application is restarted.

  • The keyboard controls are not supported in the KODAK Picture CD software for MACINTOSH.

  • If you have trouble connecting to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) when sending pictures, shut down the Picture CD, connect to the ISP, and relaunch the Picture CD.
