To enable the Matte Adjust feature in this driver:

Firmware version 070C13 or greater is required.

• Printer serial numbers less than 0004300 require the firmware to be updated
• A firmware updater is not available for use on Windows NT 4.0.

  Note: If you have access to a PC that uses the WINDOWS 98/Me or the WINDOWS 2000/XP operating system, you can use it to update the firmware by downloading the Firmware Updater for the appropriate OS from the 8500 Software Page.
