8500 Digital Photo Printer

To utilize the Calibration Utility with the 8500 printer:

Firmware version 070C13 or greater is required.
Printer serial numbers less than 0004300 require the firmware to be updated:

Availability of the Firmware Updater is shown below:

• Win98: Available now. Download the Firmware Updater from the 8500 Software page.
• Win 2000/XP: Available now. Download the Firmware Updater from the 8500 Software page.
• Win NT4: Not Available. See Note below.
• Macintosh: Available now. Download the Firmware updater from the 8500 Software page.

Note: If you have access to a PC that uses the WINDOWS 98/Me or the WINDOWS 2000/XP operating system, you can use it to update the firmware by downloading the Firmware Updater for the appropriate OS from the 8500 Software Page.
