How to Install the NIC Configuration Utility Software

The WINDOWS V1.0 file is a compressed zip/exe file archive which may be expanded on a WINDOWS PC by simply executing the dd0555.exe file. The Utilities for UNIX file is a compressed tar file archive which may be expanded on a UNIX Platform by typing: tar -xvf dd0557.tar. The MACINTOSH file will self extract onto your desktop (dd0556.hqx).

NIC Firmware Upgrade

The following NIC v1.17 firmware includes a release document with important notes pertaining to upgrade applicability and procedures for downloading the new firmware to the NIC from PC, MAC or UNIX platforms. Please refer to this document before attempting any NIC firmware download.
