This is the latest version of the Kodak Photo CD file format plug-in for use with ADOBE PHOTOSHOP. The plug-in was updated to use color space ICC profiles in addition to input ICC profiles as sources. In particular, this makes it possible to use the stdpycc.pf ICC profile for Photo CD files made with the KODAK DIGITAL SCIENCE Conversion System 1200.
In order to use this new version of the plug-in, you must have previously installed an earlier version on your computer. The update consists of a single file which replaces the earlier version.
To update the plug-in, you expanded the downloaded archive to extract the plug-in which is called Kodak ICC Photo CD. Replace the file with the same name in your PHOTOSHOP plug-ins folder. The old plug-in will usually be found in Plug-Ins:File Formats in a PHOTOSHOP 5.0 installation and in Plug-Ins:File Format:Kodak Photo CD in a PHOTOSHOP 4.0 installation.
To update the plug-in, you should double-click on the downloaded file to extract the plug-in which is called pcdicc.8bi. Replace the file with the same name in your PHOTOSHOP plug-ins folder. The old plug-in will usually be found in Plug-Ins\File Formats in a PHOTOSHOP 5.0 installation and in Plugins\Formats in a PHOTOSHOP 4.0 installation.
