A new version of printer firmware is available for the 8670 printer. This version can be downloaded to your printer and will automatically be stored in the printer's Flash memory. This new firmware enhances network interface performance.

WINDOWS Users:

1. Download the file to your system.
2. Double click on the file to de-compress the software.
   Result: A WinZip Self-Extractor window appears.
3. Unzip the contents to an appropriate folder.
4. Refer to Readme files for additional installation instructions.

MACINTOSH Users:
Before downloading to your MACINTOSH, be sure to:

1. Download the file to your system.
2. Double click on the file to de-compress the software.
   Result: The file self extracts onto the desktop.
3. Refer to Readme files for additional installation instructions.
