The KODAK PROFESSIONAL 8660 Raster Driver for WINDOWS Systems will allow almost any Windows-based application to print directly to the KODAK DIGITAL SCIENCE 8660 Color Printer via SCSI, Parallel or the Network connectivity options. This robust printer driver provides users with ease-of-use access and control over the sophisticated imaging features of the award-winning KODAK PROFESSIONAL Thermal Printers, including print layout control, package templates, Kodak color management, logo placement and more.
Version 2.0 of the 8660 Driver for WINDOWS 95/98/Me offers a consistent look and feel to the NT version, along with adding full support for KODAK Color Connector files for simplifying color management. Version 2.0 also offers up to a 40% performance improvement over the Version 1.0 release.
WINDOWS Users
Click the download file link to download the software. A "Save As" dialog will appear. Once the file has been saved to your system, double-click the file to decompress the software. A WinZip Self-Extractor window will appear. Unzip the contents to an appropriate folder. See the Readme file for information on installing the raster driver.
MACINTOSH Users
Click the download file link to download the software. The contents will extract to an appropriate folder or to your desktop depending on your Preference settings. See the Readme file for information on installing the raster driver.
NOTE
Printing from SCSI requires ASPI (Advanced SCSI Programmer's Interface), a layer of software that manages communication to and from peripheral SCSI devices. The raster driver requires installation of the latest version of ASPI which is available from Adaptec Inc's Web site. See the Read Me file for more information on how to install the latest version of ASPI. |
