Note: This upgrade is available to U.S. and Canada customers
only.
This upgrade installs a POCKETWIZARD Radio Transceiver in your
KODAK PROFESSIONAL DCS Pro SLR/n, DCS Pro 14n, or DCS Pro
14nx Digital Camera. A Kodak authorized service center performs
the installation and Kodak warrants the upgrade for the remainder
of your camera warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer. This upgrade
is covered by your camera's service agreement.
The POCKETWIZARD Radio Transceiver is one of the most fully featured
32-channel digital wireless triggering devices available. You can
operate this fully integrated camera component with your camera
controls and camera LCD menu displays. The POCKETWIZARD Radio Transceiver
is fully compatible with all other POCKETWIZARD products including
the POCKETWIZARD Classic, the POCKETWIZARD Plus, the POCKETWIZARD
MAX, and the POCKETWIZARD MultiMAX. The transceiver operates with
other professional photography equipment with POCKETWIZARD Inside
such as PROFOTO, DYNA-LITE, and PHOTO CONTROL flash systems, SEKONIC
Light Meters, and the NIKON D1 series of digital cameras.
The POCKETWIZARD upgrade includes nearly all of the functionality
of an external POCKETWIZARD MultiMAX transceiver, including the
ability to wirelessly fire up to 4 groups of strobes. As a receiver,
it enables the camera to be triggered by another POCKETWIZARD Transceiver
without the need of a camera trigger cable. The range is approximately
1000 feet with the removable antenna attached to your camera's
PC sync socket. See the
User's
Guide (PDF; 840 KB) for more information.
