How can I view a tape that was recorded in a country with a different television system?
There are three major (and several minor) television systems used around the world. Unfortunately, these systems are not compatible with each other. In order to view a European PAL system tape on a US-made NTSC television, a special VCR which converts from one system to the other must be used (such as the Panasonic AG-W1). As an alternative, TV system conversion of your video tape may be available as a serviceat a video shop in your area. However, this service can be costly; please inquire about prices before authorizing the work.
