KODAK DIGITAL SCIENCE DC50 Zoom Camera
Connecting to a Computer

When you have finished taking pictures, transfer them to your computer. You can then use the pictures or save them on your hard drive. Use only the cables that are included with the DC50 Zoom Camera to connect the camera to a Macintosh or PC computer.

  1. Turn off the camera.
  2. Plug one end of the serial cable into the port on the back of your computer.

If you have a 25-pin serial port, you must obtain a 25-pin adapter to connect the cable. If both ports are in use, disconnect the cable from one of the ports and connect the camera cable.

  3. Pull gently up on the serial and AC power adapter port cover on the side of the camera.

The camera's serial and AC power adapter ports are exposed.

  4. Plug the other end of the serial cable into the camera's serial port.
  5. Turn on the camera.
  6. A three-digit animation appears in the LCD.

See the software documentation for information about transferring pictures to your computer.
