Placing the Date and Time on Pictures

Use this setting to imprint the date and time on the lower right corner of the picture.
NoteNote:  This setting is ideal when you need to keep track of when a picture was taken: for example, a birthday or an insurance claim.

  1. Make sure the camera clock is set to the correct time. See Setting the Clock.

  2. With the camera on, turn the Mode dial to Setup.

  3. Press a button until Date/Time Stamp is highlighted.

  4. Press the OK button to display the Date/Time Stamp screen.

  5. Press a button to highlight the format you want to use.

  6. Press the OK button to accept the changes.
The next time you take a picture, the date and time stamp is recorded in the lower right corner of the picture.

NoteNote:  This setting remains until you change it.
