Your camera can the record the date and time directly on your picture using the Date Stamp feature. In order for the feature to imprint the correct date and time, you need to set the camera clock. See Setting the Clock on Your Camera for details. Once a picture is taken with the date stamp, the date stamp cannot be removed.
- With the camera on, set the Slider switch to Preferences.
The Preferences screen appears.
- Press a
button until the icon is highlighted.
- Press the DO-IT button.

The Date Stamp screen appears. The current setting is checked ( ).
- Press a
button until the Date Stamp option you want is highlighted.

- Press the DO-IT button.
The Preferences screen reappears.
The next time you take a picture the date is imprinted in the lower right-hand corner of the picture. The Date Stamp icon appears on the LCD if Quickview or Preview is turned on (see Setting a Quickview for Each Picture or Previewing a Picture Before it is Taken).
- To turn off Date Stamp, press a
button until OFF is highlighted, then press the
DO-IT button.
