KODAK CAMEO Focus Free Camera
Unloading the Film

The film will no longer advance when it is at the end of the roll. You can check that you are at the end by seeing if the PICTURE COUNTER has reached at least 12, 24, or 36 (depending on the length of the film you are using). You may get a few extra pictures. You must rewind the film before unloading it from the camera, or you will ruin your pictures.

  1. Close the LENS COVER/FLASH.

    Caution Caution
You must press the REWIND BUTTON completely down until it locks in place, and be sure it stays down while you are rewinding the film.

  2. Rewind the film:
    1. Press the REWIND BUTTON until it latches and remains in the down position.
    2. Unfold the REWIND HANDLE, and turn it in the direction of the arrow. If the REWIND BUTTON lifts up when you begin rewinding, press it down again. When the film is fully rewound into the film container, you will notice that the HANDLE turns easier.
  3. Open the FILM DOOR, pull up the REWIND HANDLE, and remove the film.

Note: When you open the FILM DOOR, the PICTURE COUNTER will reset to the "0" position.
