KODAK CAMEO Focus Free Camera Loading the Film
- If in sunlight, turn your back to the sun and load the film in the shade of your body.
- Open the FILM DOOR by sliding the FILM-DOOR LATCH up.

- Unfold the REWIND HANDLE and pull it up.

- Insert the film in the FILM CHAMBER as shown below.
- Push the REWIND HANDLE back into place, rotating it slightly if necessary, so that
its shaft engages the film spindle. Refold the REWIND HANDLE.
- Pull out only enough film to place the end of the film at the FILM-LOAD MARK.
Make sure that the film lies flat and that the SPROCKET TEETH show through the
holes along the side of the film. Close the door until it clicks shut.

- Open the LENS COVER/FLASH to turn the camera on.
- Press the SHUTTER BUTTON and turn the FILM-ADVANCE WHEEL repeatedly
until the PICTURE COUNTER shows "1".

Note: Because of the limited space on the PICTURE COUNTER, a space represents frame 2. Beginning at frame 3, every third number shows. Dots represent the numbers in between.
- To make sure your film is properly loaded, unfold the REWIND HANDLE and turn it
one turn in the direction of the arrow on the handle or until it resists turning. When you
advance the film for the next picture, the REWIND HANDLE should rotate. If it does
not rotate, reload the film.
- If you use 100- or 200-speed film, set the FILM-SPEED LEVER on the front of the
camera near the LENS to the ISO 100/200. If you use 400-speed film, set the FILM-
SPEED LEVER to the ISO 400 position.
Note: The FILM WINDOW shows if film is in the camera and the type of film.
