What happened Probable cause Solution
Camera will not operate There are no more pictures remaining Rewind film and remove from camera
Battery weak, dead, missing, or improperly inserted Replace or reload the battery
Film does not advance or rewind Battery weak, dead, missing, or improperly inserted Replace or reload the battery
Picture counter resets to 1 after replacing batteries with film in camera Took more than 30 seconds to replace the batteries Replace batteries within 30 seconds
LCD panel is blank Batteries weak, dead, missing, or improperly inserted Replace or reload the batteries
Camera in sleep mode Press shutter button or close and reopen lens cover/flash
Lens cover closed Open lens cover/flash
Flash/camera-ready lamp indicator "blinks" red Flash not fully charged Wait for lamp to turn off
Film cassette does not fit entirely into film chamber; film door does not close Loaded exposed (),
