Using the Zoom Lens
This camera has a motorized-zoom lens that lets you select the ideal lens-focal length for taking pictures. When you turn on the camera, it is initially set to the wide-angle position.

Completely lift up the lens cover/ flash to uncover the lens and to turn on the camera.

Look through the viewfinder eyepiece.

Move the zoom dial to the right to zoom closer to the subject in the telephoto mode or to the left to zoom away from the subject in the wide-angle mode.

Partially press down the shutter button until the flash/camera-ready lamp turns green. Fully press down the shutter button to take the picture.
The lens barrel automatically returns to the wide-angle position after 2 minutes.
