User's Guide
Loading the Battery
This camera uses one 3 V lithium KODAK KCR2 (or equivalent) Battery that supplies power for all camera operations.

Open the BATTERY DOOR.
Before you remove the old battery, close the lens cover.

Place the battery over the battery-pull strap and insert into the chamber as shown.

Snap the battery door closed.
Note: Insert the battery into the camera before you load the film.

It’s time to replace the battery when the BATTERY SYMBOL appears on the LCD PANEL or when the FLASH-READY LAMP takes longer than 15 seconds to turn on.

Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.

Remember to keep a spare battery with you at all times.

Read and follow all warnings and instructions supplied by the battery manufacturer.

Keep batteries away from children.

Do not try to take apart, recharge or short circuit the battery, or subject it to high temperature or fire.

Store batteries in their original packaging prior to use.
Automatic Energy Saving Features
To reduce battery power, the camera will automatically go into a sleep mode if it is not operated for more than 4 minutes. You can awaken the camera by taking a picture or by closing and reopening the LENS COVER. When the camera will ont be used for an extended length of time, turn camera completely off to further conserve the battery power.
