What happened Probable cause Solution
Camera will not operate There are no more pictures remaining Rewind film and remove from camera
Batteries weak, dead, missing, or improperly inserted Replace or reload the batteries
Film does not advance or rewind Battery weak, dead, missing, or improperly inserted Replace or reload the batteries
LCD panel is blank Battery weak, dead, missing, or improperly inserted Replace or reload the batteries
Camera in sleep mode Press shutter button or close and reopen lens cover/flash
Lens cover/flash closed Open lens cover/flash
Flash/camera ready lamp "blinks" red Flash not fully charged Wait for lamp to turn off
Film cassette does not fit completely into film chamber, film door does not close Loaded exposed Icon,
partially exposed Icon,
or processed film Icon, into the camera
Load an unexposed film Icon, into the camera
