KODAK ADVANTIX 5800MRX Zoom Camera
Date and Time Imprinting

This camera has a quartz clock and automatic calendar through the year 2099. You can record the date in a choice of three formats: (year/month/day, day/month/year, month/day/year) or time (hour/minute). Traditional cameras print the date and/or time information directly onto the film. Your camera uses the film's magnetic data-recording capability to record date and time information, which your photofinisher imprints on the back of your photographs.

Setting the date and time

  1. Press the DATE BUTTON repeatedly to scroll and select desired date format.
  2. Press the SELECT BUTTON. The first two digits will "blink."
  3. Press the ZOOM-DIAL LEVER to the right or left to increase or decrease the number.
  4. Press the ENTER BUTTON to store the selection and to activate the next "blinking" date option
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to complete your selection.
  6. Repeat steps 1 - 4 for setting the time.
