Troubleshooting

What happened	Probable cause	Solution
Camera will not operate	Lens cover closed	Open lens cover completely
	Battery weak, dead, missing, or impoperly loaded	Replace or reload the battery
	Flash not ready	Wait for the blinking flash-ready light to disappear
	Film not properly loaded in camera	Reload the film; see Loading the film
	Film needs to be removed	See Unloading the Film
Shutter button cannot be released	Lens cover closed	Press ON/OFF to open the lens/lens cover
Shutter button cannot be released	Battery weak, dead, missing, or impoperly loaded	Replace or reload the battery
Film-door latch does not open	Film is not completely rewound into the cartridge	Complete taking pictures or press the film-rewind button
LCD panel is blank	Battery weak, dead, missing, or improperly loaded	Replace or reload the battery
Camera-warning light "blinks" red	Slow shutter speed in low-light scenes	Use high-speed film, a tripod, and hold the camera steady
Camera buttons and zoom will not operate	No film in camera	Load film into the camera
