Quartz Back
This camera has a quartz clock and automatic calendar through the year 2099. You can choose from three formats: (year/month/day, day/month/year, or month/day/year) or time format (day, hour/minute). When you hold the camera horizontally to take pictures, the data is recorded onto the lower right portion of the picture. In the vertical format with the shutter button up, it’s imprinted on the lower left portion but positioned horizontally on the picture.
Setting the date

Press ON/OFF to uncover the lens/ lens cover and to turn on the camera.

Press DATE and hold until the first numbers on the LCD panel "blink."

Move the zoom dial to the right or left to change the first setting in the date mode.

Press DATE to save that setting and to actuate the next setting for date.

Follow steps 3 and 4 to complete the setting for date.

Press ON/OFF to uncover the lens/ lens cover and to turn on the camera.

Press DATE and hold until the first numbers on the LCD panel "blink."

Repeatedly press date until the hour setting in time mode "blinks."

Move the zoom dial to the right or left to select the hour.

Press DATE to save the setting for hour and to actuate the setting for minutes.

Move the zoom dial to select the minutes.

Press ON/Off to save the information.
Changing the format
-
Press ON/OFF to uncover the lens/ lens cover and to turn on the camera.

Repeatedly press DATE to scroll and select the desired format.

Press ON/Off to save the information.
