Taking Flash Pictures

In dim light, such as indoors or outdoors in heavy shade, or on dark overcast days, you need flash. This camera features an automatic flash that fires when you need it.

  1. Press ON/OFF to uncover the lens/lens cover and to turn on the camera.
  2. Take the picture when the flash-ready light and the auto-flash indicator on the LCD panel stop blinking.

  3. Keep the subject within the distance range for the speed of film in your camera.

Don’t take pictures beyond the maximum distance or your pictures will be dark.

  4. Hold the camera steady and gently press the shutter button completely down to take the picture.

To prevent battery drain, turn off the camera by pressing the on/off button when you are done taking pictures.
