This is the last release of the DCS Acquire Module that supports 68K MACINTOSH systems. The minimum operating system version required for this release is Mac OS 7.5. This version has not been certified with Mac OS 8.0 and later versions of Mac OS. This version of the DCS Acquire Module only supports NC2000, EOS DCS3, DCS 410, DCS 420, EOS DCS5, DCS 460, DCS 465, and EOS DCS1 model cameras.

This version of the DCS TWAIN Data Source is the last version that supports WINDOWS 3.1 (also known as WINDOWS for Workgroups). This version only supports NC2000, EOS DCS3, DCS 410, DCS 420, EOS DCS5, DCS 460, DCS 465, and EOS DCS1 model cameras.

This version is the last version that supported fully functional tethered operation with SCSI cameras. The SCSI models are NC2000, EOS DCS3, DCS 410, DCS 420, EOS DCS5, DCS 460, DCS 465, and EOS DCS1. Later versions of the DCS Acquire Model provided limited tethered operation.

Tethered Operation: Please review the information in the "ReadMe1394.pdf" file if you plan on using Tethered Operation and your computer operates under the WINDOWS OS.

This is a special packaging update that will install the DCS TWAIN Data Source V5.9.3 with a newer IEEE 1394 (FireWire) driver from DCS Camera Manager V3.0.1 that will allow DCS TWAIN Data Source V5.9.3 to operate on WINDOWS 98, WINDOWS Me, WINDOWS NT 4.0, WINDOWS 2000, and WINDOWS XP.

This version fully supports the DCS 315, DCS 330, DCS 520, EOS D2000, DCS 560, EOS D6000, DCS 620, DCS 620x, DCS 660, and DCS 660M IEEE 1394 cameras. It has limited tethered support for the NC2000, EOS DCS3, DCS 410, DCS 420, EOS DCS5, DCS 460, DCS 460M, DCS 465, and EOS DCS1 SCSI cameras.

Note: This package has been provided as a convenience only and has not been fully tested, nor is it supported, by Kodak. DCS Camera Manager V3.0.1 and its IEEE 1394 driver have been fully tested together on WINDOWS 2000 and WINDOWS XP, but neither have been tested on WINDOWS 98 and WINDOWS Me. DCS Camera Manager V3.0.1 and newer are not supported on WINDOWS NT 4.0.
