- What are these materials?

These are the latest generation photographic display medias from Kodak with rich colors and eye-catching appeal. Now each display material is also optimized for digital and optical exposure.
KODAK PROFESSIONAL ENDURA Transparency Display Material is for use on illuminators without built-in diffusers. This translucent-base color transparency material offers improved color saturation for brighter colors and a more uniform D-max generating blacker blacks.
KODAK PROFESSIONAL ENDURA Clear Display Material is a clear-base color transparency material for use on illuminators with built-in diffusers. Perfect for creating large, brilliant display transparencies.
Both display materials are compatible with Process RA-4.
- What can I use this material for?
ENDURA Transparency Display Material is ideal for a range of backlit display applications on illuminators without built-in diffusers, for example:
- large display images (such as trade-show displays)
- point-of-purchase materials
- indoor transit displays (airports, subways, etc.)
ENDURA Clear Display Material is designed for similar applications where a built-in diffuser is available. For example:
- backlit displays for advertising/point-of-sale, promotions, lobbies, and office decor.

- Can I expose these materials on the KODAK PROFESSIONAL RP 30/SRP 30 or RR 30 Laser Printers?
- KODAK PROFESSIONAL ENDURA Display Materials cannot be used on these printers as the printers were designed primarily for high-volume output on reflective print papers. In addition the RP 30/SRP 30 printers are not designed to provide the extended process time required by ENDURA Display Materials.
- Can I expose these materials on the KODAK PROFESSIONAL RP 50 LED Printer (previously LED/LED II 20R or P)?
- KODAK PROFESSIONAL ENDURA Display Materials cannot be used on these printers as they are primarily designed for reflective print applications.
- Do these materials work in a standard Process RA-4?
- Yes, and the development time must be set to 120 seconds.
- What sizes are available?
- ENDURA Transparency Display and ENDURA Clear Display Materials are available in sizes up to 182.9 cm (72 inches) wide.
- What is the image stability of these products?
- ENDURA Display Materials incorporate our latest technology.

- What is the fire rating of these products?
- The fire rating for the digital display products is the same as that for any display materials. See CIS-37, Combustion of KODAK Films, Resin-Coated Photographic Papers and Print and Display Materials.
- Can these products be spliced?
- The display materials can be spliced with Kodak splicing tape as with past display products.
- Can I use a safelight with these products?
- Do not use a safelight with these products.
- How should I calibrate these materials?
- Follow the manufacturing recommendations for calibration.
- How should these products be stored?
- Store unexposed materials at 13º C (55º F) or lower in the original sealed package. High temperatures or high humidity may produce unwanted image-quality changes.
- What is the latent-image keeping of these materials?
- For best results, we recommend processing these materials the same day as exposure.
- How can I retouch these materials?
- You can retouch these materials the same way that you retouch other display materials. For more information, see KODAK Publication E-70, Retouching Prints on KODAK EKTACOLOR and EKTACHROME Papers.
