KODAK PROFESSIONAL Pre-Bleach, Process E-6,
and Pre-Bleach and Replenisher, Processes E-6 and
E-6AR, stabilize color reversal film from Kodak and
other manufacturers by using a blocked stabilizing
agent. This prepares the metallic silver developed
in the first and color developers for oxidation to
silver halide in the bleach step. And it helps
preserve the acidity of the bleach solution by
reducing carryover of color developer into the
bleach. The Pre-Bleach also enhances dye stability.
The Pre-Bleach is available in several sizes. If your
lab has an in-line dilution replenishment system, use
Pre-Bleach and Replenisher, Process E-6AR.
Chemicals that contain an AR designation in their
name indicate automatic replenishment.
Clearly marked expiration dates on the packaging
