Scalable, cost effective storage designed specifically for the professional laboratory by CIPRICO & PLASMON
When properly designed, a digital workflow can simplify the task of short- and long-term archiving, thanks to the much-reduced size of stored digital files compared to traditional negatives and chromes.
The superior adaptability of KODAK PROFESSIONAL'S Modular Digital Workflow Products makes them compatible with a variety of storage solutions, all manufactured by vendors approved by Kodak for their commitment to quality, performance, and reliability.
Product Description
The storage solution is a NAS (Network Attached Storage) implementation. The RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks) front end is extremely modular and allows for addition of drives and provides the 'work in hand' storage. The archival storage (or nearline component) is a DVD-RAM Jukebox which is also designed to be extremely modular for updating as laboratories needs for storing digitized images increase.
