National Council of La Raza

 
At the National Council of La Raza’s annual convention, participants in the “Lideres Youth Leadership Summit” made magic memories using Kodak’s PowerFlash single-use cameras. NCLR is the largest national Latino civil rights and advocacy organization in the U.S., and hosted its 2009 Líderes Summit, in conjunction with the 2009 NCLR Annual Conference, Chicago.

National Urban League's Conference

 
This year, at the National Urban League’s conference in Chicago, Kodak contributed single-use cameras, EasyShare digital cameras, and Kodak Zi6 digital video cameras to help NULITES participants photograph and document their activities. At the NULITES Youth Summit and Project Ready Case Competition, they took part in workshops and activities designed to build leadership and career skills.

Kodak named to Diversity/Careers' Readers Choice list

 
For the second consecutive year, Kodak has again been named to the "Readers' Choice" list of Diversity/Careers in Engineering and Information Technology. Kodak was the sole company named in the magazine's Scientific, Photographic, and Control Equipment category. One hundred companies earned top rankings from readers of Diversity/Careers for their support of minorities and women, their attention to work/life balance, and their commitment to supplier diversity. Kodak joins such well-known companies as Ford, Boeing, Honda, Toyota, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts, Coca-Cola, and Verizon on the 2009 list.
