![]() In the summer of 2010, 11 year-old Stephen Goodman from Surprise, Arizona decided he wanted to make it his mission to brighten the lives of those fighting for our country. Inspired by stories from his grandfather, a Vietnam veteran, Stephen began the task of creating 180,000 greeting cards, one for each of the soldiers currently overseas at the time. With the help of his family, and support of several local businesses, Stephen has worked steadily toward his goal while keeping up with his other daily activities, such as little league baseball and martial arts.
![]() When Kodak heard about Stephen's passion for sharing our country's thanks, we immediately hopped on board as it's OUR passion to help people share sentiments, anytime, anywhere. To help Stephen reach his admirable, yet large goal, we invited him to create his own Personal Greeting Card on the KODAK Picture Kiosk – this allowed him to maintain personalization while reaching a larger audience more quickly. We've since printed and sent over 100,000 to him. As part of an ongoing effort to support Stephen's mission, check in here to keep up with Stephen's progress, view pictures, get updates from Stephen himself, and find news coverage of his story.
