Worry-free From the Start, With Drop-in Loading
Just drop the film cassette into the camera—no threading or rewinding. And an automatic reject device makes it impossible to load exposed or processed film, eliminating the risk of double-exposure.

Exposure Status is indicated Automatically
At a glance, you'll know the exact status of your ADVANTIX film. A series of four symbols indicate whether your film is unexposed, partially exposed, ready for processing, or processed. The "partially exposed" symbol is especially useful when you change rolls mid-way through the roll.

Customize Each Shot Using 3 Different Picture Sizes
When taking pictures, you can choose from Classic 4x 6-inch for standard shots, Group/HDTV 4 x 7-inch, or Panoramic 4 x 11-inch for large group shots or landscapes. Regardless of which format you choose, you always have the option of choosing a different size for reprints!

Optimized Images During Processing
Some KODAK ADVANTIX Cameras magnetically record information about lighting conditions and exposure on the film. With this scene information, the photofinishing lab can make color correction and exposure adjustments to provide you with the results superior to traditional 35 mm cameras.

Mid-Roll Changing Information Exchange (MRX)
On some APS cameras you can rewind a partially exposed film cassette and later reload it and continue shooting from where you left off. This feature allows you to switch to another film speed in mid-roll to match scene requirements or to dedicate individual film rolls to specific subjects. The magnetic Information Exchange (IX) technology allows the camera to automatically advance to the first unexposed frame of a partially exposed film cassette.

Date and Time Labelling for Easy Print Identification
With PQix enhanced cameras, every photo can show the date and time that the picture was taken. The information is magnetically recorded on the film and printed on the back of the photo during photofinishing.

Photos Returned with an Index Print Showing Pictures at a Glance
Ordering reprints and enlargements is easier than ever. Previously, 35 mm film made ordering reprints and enlargements inconvenient because each picture needed to be found on a hard-to-read negative strip.

Processed Negatives Stored in the Cartridge
With the Advanced Photo System, the negatives are returned inside the film cassette, accompanied by a color index print. For easy reprints, simply match the ID number on the back of the print or on the index print with the film cassette number, and order the photos you want reprinted.
