Gather large letters spelling out the word you want in the collage. Craft stores carry wooden and cardboard letters than can be painted. The letters could also be printed out on an inkjet printer, one to an 8 ½ x 11 sheet.

Choose a location to shoot your photos. Outside in a well lit area with a plain background works well.
|
|
|
Take pictures of the child holding each letter of the word. Shoot several of each letter so you have many to choose from.
|
|
|
Pick your favorite shot of each letter and print them out. Mount or frame the pictures so they spell out the word. Your photo collage is ready for surprising a special someone!
