Layered Cookie Mix

 Calling all chocolate and peanut butter lovers! You can stir up sweet satisfaction in minutes and create a perfect gift from your kitchen.

What You'll Need:

  • Quart size jar with lid
  • Printed copy of recipe (see below)
  • Glue
  • Ribbon
  • Recipe and required ingredients

How to Make it:

 Thoroughly wash and dry the jar and lid.

Print the recipe and trim per instructions.

Layer the dry ingredients in this order:
  • 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® peanut butter cookie mix
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup candy-coated chocolate candies
  • 1 cup salted peanuts
TIP: Use a funnel for adding most of the ingredients. Pack down all ingredients, especially the cookie mix.

Make your gift special by adding a ribbon and the printed recipe which makes a great gift tag.
TIP: When making the recipe into a gift tag, put a small piece of scotch tape on the upper left-hand corner. This is to give it a little extra strength. Use a hole puncher and make a small hole in the taped corner. Thread the ribbon through the hole then wrap the ribbon around the metal of the jar lid and tie it into a bow. Secure in place with a small dab of glue behind the bow and in the back.

 

Be creative when you make your jars, and add your own finishing touches such as photo stickers.
