Accordion Brag Book

Build this petite album to display your
favorite photos so you can show them off
everywhere you go.

What You'll Need:

8 - 3 ½ x 5 photos
1 piece of 8 ½ x 11 heavy-duty card stock
Photo-safe glue
Hole Punch
Ribbon

How to Make it:

Choose your photos

Look for 8 images with similar orientation, either horizontal or vertical.

Build the book

Cut the card stock in half, making two 8 ½ inches
wide and 5 ½ inches long pieces. Measure in ½ inch
from one of the 5 ½-inch-long edges, and draw a
faint pencil line there. Place a thin layer of glue
between the edge and the pencil line, then glue the
two pieces together, creating one long sheet that’s
16 ½ inches wide and 5 ½ inches long.

Create your accordion

Fold the sheet of paper in half, creating two halves
that are each 8 ¼ inches wide. At each edge, fold
the paper back toward the center to create an
accordion fold.

Get some closure

Make a small hole in the front panel, and thread a
long strand of ribbon through it. (You’ll use the
ribbon later to tie the book shut.)

Add your photos

Attach the photos with photo-safe glue, making sure
they all face in the same direction. You can decorate
each panel with scrapbooking embellishments, like
patterned papers and stickers that match the theme
of the photo and the book.

Finish it with a bow

Wrap the ribbon around the book, and tie it in a
pretty bow.
