Cure rainy-day boredom by creating custom
puppets with your kids.
What You'll Need:
Full-length photos of people or animals
Card stock
Utility knife or scissors
Glue
Tape
Craft sticks

How to Make it:
Find your photos
Use pictures of your favorite people and animals, or you can
download our “Jungle Animal” set
to get you started.
Cut out your puppet
Use a small loop of tape to stick the photo to the sheet of card stock. Use the utility
knife or scissors to cut along the outline of the person or animal, making sure to cut
the card stock underneath.
Make the puppet
Sandwich a craft stick between the photo and card stock, and glue it all together,
making sure that the edges of the photo and card stock line up.
Use your imagination
Crouch behind a table or chair and hold the puppets above as you act out your story.
