Kodak Shows INFO*FLEX Attendees How to “Do More with Less”

At the 30th Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) Annual Forum and INFO*FLEX Exhibition 2012, taking place March 17-21 in San Antonio, Kodak (Booth 101) will show flexographic professionals how the KODAK FLEXCEL NX System and breadth of packaging solutions can help them do more with less to improve efficiency and grow their businesses.

 “Today’s packaging printers and brand owners are continually looking for ways to do more with less—specifically with regards to flexo printing and applications,” noted Kodak’s Dr. John Anderson, Packaging Segment Director, Americas Region. “INFO*FLEX is the perfect opportunity for our customers to learn about our latest technologies, best practices and recent successes.”

During the event, Kodak will spotlight the KODAK FLEXCEL NX System, KODAK Unified Workflow Solutions for Packaging, KODAK PRINERGY POWERPACK Workflow, KODAK APPROVAL NX Digital Color Imaging System, and KODAK SPOTLESS Flexographic Solutions. All solutions are designed to help customers lower costs, improve quality, streamline production and create high-impact packaging to drive growth, revenue and profit opportunities.

As part of the FTA Forum general session, participants will share real-world print jobs that compare flexo against other print technologies, including offset, gravure, and even digital.   Kodak’s exhibit and presentation support the FTA INFO*FLEX Forum theme—“Flexo: Brand of Choice.” Attendees who visit Kodak’s booth will hear about customers who chose KODAK FLEXCEL NX as their “Brand of Choice” and the benefits they realized for their own business as well as the businesses of their clients. Attendees also will see technology demonstrations and print samples illustrating how they can do more with less.

In addition, Paul Lancelle, Kodak’s Flexo Printing Applications Specialist, will speak on Tuesday, March 20, on the topic of “Do More with Four—Utilizing Process Print to Extend the Capabilities of the Flexographic Color Gamut.” The presentation will demonstrate the use of current technologies that have proven to extend the color gamut of flexo, and potentially eliminate the need for the additional colors used in various extended-color-gamut applications, on a variety of substrates and print conditions.

Kodak’s exhibit and presentations will give attendees a deeper understanding of the opportunities in the packaging market and how Kodak’s breadth of packaging solutions can deliver benefits across packaging print applications from concept to consumer.
