    LAS VEGAS, April 17 --

Kodak’s Document Imaging business will demonstrate best-in-class technologies and present its vision for multi-source information management at this week’s ITEX 2013 Expo & Conference April 17-18 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Roland Simonis, Kodak’s Technology Director for Document Imaging, will present “Transforming Disparate Data into Valuable Knowledge” today at 12:50 p.m. (PDT) in the imageSource Live Theater. Simonis’ presentation will explore methods for automating business workflows and eliminating bottlenecks created by multi-source input.

“Critical business information arrives in many different forms — including emails, electronic files, paper documents and smart phones — and businesses often struggle to effectively use all of this information,” said Simonis. “This presentation will help attendees identify key pain points across their business and target the best options to unleash information capture processes to drive business efficiency and growth.”

Attendees will also receive hands-on access to Kodak’s award-winning products (Kodak.com/go/dipr) in the Document Management & Workflow Solutions Zone, which is designed to help channel providers adjust their business models and technology portfolios to address the needs of their customers and drive sustainable revenue growth.

“The needs of the office market are radically changing due to the growing use of mobile devices to the emerging demands of data-driven services. The ITEX Conference provides Kodak’s seasoned experts with an opportunity to share their experience and advice,” said Tony Barbeau, Kodak’s General Manager for Document Imaging. “We look forward to presenting our vision of the future, which focuses on better information management and integration to help companies take advantage of the multiple communications channels being used by their customers.”

Kodak’s booth (#425) will feature solutions for business of all sizes, including the KODAK i5600 Scanner with KODAK Capture Pro Software, the KODAK i2900 Scanner with KODAK Asset Management Software, and the KODAK SCANMATE i940 Scanner with KODAK Info Activate Solution v1.1.
