    ROCHESTER, N.Y., February 04 --

Hunkeler Innovationdays has an industry-wide reputation for showcasing creative solutions, delivering exciting operational opportunities. Kodak expects this year’s event to be no different as it asks the 4,000 expected visitors to think “Digital Your Way.”

At the event in Lucerne, Switzerland, from February 11 to 15, in Hall 2, booth PO1, Kodak will be announcing some exciting news on its PROSPER Press range and showcasing its full digital portfolio for the commercial printing market. Attendees will see the KODAK NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Press and the impact of its Long Sheet option on job flexibility and throughput. Kodak will also show how its extended range of dry inks produce metallic and pearlescent effects, creating broader commercial appeal—particularly for book covers and direct mail applications.

Demonstrating its ability to collaborate with a range of partners, Kodak will team its PROSPER 1000 Press with a HUNKELER Finishing Line for black-and-white trade and educational book applications. Its KODAK PROSPER S5 Imprinting System with CMYK will also form the central element in retail and direct mail applications.

In addition to the wide range of digital printing solutions, Kodak will share information about its workflow, digital plates and platesetters, and services. Kodak will highlight, too, its successful partnerships with Tec-Lighting for the KODAK NEXPRESS Press and Adphos, Matti, and Unigraphica for the PROSPER S5 Imprinting System.

These solutions, plus some new announcements, will be featured at a press conference on Monday, February 11, at 14:00.

Kodak’s top team of experts will be on hand during the event to offer advice and technical expertise.

“As a leader in digital print we are always looking to offer our customers new ways of supporting them and helping them grow their business,” comments Olivier Claude, General Manager for Print & Vice President Commercial Business EAMER. “Hunkeler Innovationdays 2013 is a perfect platform for this. To help highlight our capabilities we will have live demonstrations of our latest enhancements with the opportunity for one-to-one performance reviews to meet more specific customer criteria.”
