Rochester, NY, November 08 --

Kodak’s Document Imaging division will promote its innovative vision for an easier, more effective way to capture, manage and access business information during SharePoint Conference 2012, Nov. 12-15 (booth#1060), at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Next week’s showcase of supporting technologies for SharePoint will include KODAK Info Activate Solution, which delivers both ease of use and administrative controls that enhance business workflows such as claims, invoices, medical records, HR onboarding and legal documentation. Info Activate Solution (http://bit.ly/InfoActivate) features a simple user experience that allows knowledge workers to simultaneously digitize paper documents and initiate a business process with a single click.

“Info Activate Solution makes it extremely easy for employees to get information from paper documents into SharePoint,” said Rod Hughes, Kodak’s Director of Global Alliances for Document Imaging. “Built inside of SharePoint, Info Activate Solution also enables IT professionals to expand upon the platform’s existing administrative capabilities with accurate and effective pathways that define how information from paper gets captured, where it goes, and how people can retrieve it.

During SharePoint Conference 2012, Kodak will meet with software developers, system integrators and other IT professionals to discuss issues related to user adoption, organizational complianceand the overall cost-effectiveness of using SharePoint for workflow and content management applications. Concept Searching, a leading developer of classification, taxonomy and search software, will also feature Info Activate Solution at its booth.

Members of the IT and SharePoint communities recently met at Kodak Global Directions 2012, an educational conference focused on topics related to document management, collaboration, governance and business process automation. Experts from companies such as Microsoft (http://bit.ly/MS_KGD2012)and Box urged attendees to consider applications that bring together diverse types of content from multiple information sources.

The SharePoint Conference is the largest and most comprehensive event in the world dedicated exclusively to Microsoft SharePoint and supporting technologies. The annual event brings together a worldwide profile of technology professionals, technology decision makers, developers and business users to learn about SharePoint and network with partners and their peers.

SharePoint is a tool that is exploding in the industry today. It’s making it easy and accessible, whether you’re a small company or a larger company, to have a content management system,” said Dolores Kruchten, Kodak’s President for the Document Imaging business (http://bit.ly/KodakDI_KGD2012). “With Info Activate Solution, Kodak is an innovator in the market helping our customers make their workflows and their information more effective.”
