How to Make it

  Scare up a few pictures
Collect pictures of your children in their Halloween costumes. And don't forget a photo of your jack o'lantern! Take them to a KODAK Picture Maker and follow the on-screen directions to make 4" x 6" reprints. Zoom and Crop to make each picture the best it can be.

  Create the background
Trim a 12" x 12" piece of black cardstock slightly and affix it to an untrimmed 12" x 12" piece of red cardstock.

  Mat your pictures
Using a circle cutter, cut the jack o'lantern photo into a circle shape. Mat all three pictures on red cardstock.Mat the focal point picture again on the Black Gingham paper, leaving a larger edge than the red. Mat it again on the red cardstock, leaving a small edge. Position the pictures on the page and adhere with adhesive.

   Add title and journaling
For the title and journaling areas, make background accents by cutting rectangular pieces of red cardstock and Black Gingham paper. Draw a black line around the inside edge of both red rectangles.Using the lettering stickers, write "Halloween" on white cardstock. Mat the white onto black cardstock. Next, overlap the red and Black Gingham rectangles overlapping at an angle and adhere them to the page. Place the title block on top.Trace the word "Pirates" on red cardstock with a lettering template. Cut the letters out and mat them on white cardstock, leaving a slight edge. Adhere them to your page under the "Halloween" title block.Adhere the other red and Black Gingham blocks to the bottom of the page at an angle and overlapping. Journal with black pen on white cardstock, and then mat it on black cardstock. Adhere the journaling block on top of the other rectangles.
