This Valentine’s Day, have your children make something special using a favorite photo of themselves.

Photos of your children

How to Make it:

Collect your pictures

Find great shots of your little ones. You can use pictures of all sizes – from 8 x 10 in. to wallet size.

Personalize your pictures

With photo-editing software, you can zoom in and crop the part of the picture you want to use. Then have your child add a special Valentine message – something fun, like "Bee mine" or "U R sweet."

Create a one-of-a-kind Valentine

Here comes the fun part. Take your pictures and trim them into different shapes and then glue them on the colored paper. Now decorate them with whatever items you might have around the house – things like stickers, glitter, plastic jewels, feathers, or markers.

Pass them out
