Rochester, NY, Nov. 6, 2013 – Kodak Alaris today announced Seattle-based Bartell Drugs will offer consumers a full-service digital-to-print media center for all their custom print needs, via On Demand Books' innovative, in-store Espresso Book Machine® integrated with KODAK Picture Kiosks. This state-of-the-art center is being introduced exclusively at Bartell Drugs University Village store as part of a pilot program, and marks the first time it has been offered in a drug store environment.

With this new center, consumers can now print high quality, personalized self-published books or purchase books from On Demand Books' catalog of more than 7 million titles in just minutes. In addition to the photo books currently available at Bartell Drugs via the Kodak Alaris solutions, Bartell Drugs will also offer photo books via the Espresso Book Machine solution beginning in the spring of 2014.

"This new offering from Kodak Alaris represents the latest in exciting new solutions that are relevant to our market and help us drive business in our stores," said Howie Cohen, category manager for Bartell Drugs. "As consumers seek more ways to express themselves and create personalized products, this technology offers an exciting, accessible way for them to engage with their content, whether through words or pictures, and create something meaningful that they can treasure for a lifetime."
